Here are numerous layouts of design ideas and research pages from within my sketchbook. The first two images here are of a double page spread lay out from a project that was based within a day of my life, i took pictures at random spread out intervals and used illustrations to work with the photographs.
There is then a research page for styles of illustration in which i have wrote a small paragraph about a well known drawing style and then attempted to copy the style myself.
Then a design for a ice cream flavour, named from the Monarchy with faces of the royal family featured on a pot.
The following four images are that of research pages and design ideas taken from multiple subjects using different styles.

Photographs i have taken as part of multiple projects as well as a singular HDR image, which is unfortunately a photo of a photo as i lost the original image from my computer. There are examples of altered shutter speed here also.
These are all photos taken as part of a project named ‘distort’ in which i aimed to take photos that gave odd images, or slightly distorted so you can not tell what they are until further inspection.

Two pencil crayon illustration where i have attempted to create shape and texture through the the use of different colours.
Both of these were done as observational drawings of fruit a papaya and a lime.

Here are some screen prints that i have done with a image i found of The Vaccines on the internet. For a project based around an album cover. Some of the prints have been left simple on a background, others have had acetate lay over them with additional pen work or another screen print. I feel that the the screen prints work very well and i would like to experiment with them in deeper context.

Here are a number of illustrations that i have completed in a handful of medias; Biro, Pencil, Fine liner and charcoal. Some are final images, others are small sketches, design ideas.
Illustration from photographs and those direct from my imagination.
All of these are of a personal project of my own, attempting to build up a large selection of different illustration. With ranging medias and contexts, from photo copied images to cartoon styled self-imagined designs.

Here is an etching and prints i created. They were done as part of a advertising project we did for ice cream. So here, the spoon is looking up the stairway to the pot of ice cream. I really like the final outputs from printing the etching. It gave a much nicer effect than i had first imagined and i really enjoyed doing it, experimenting with something that is slightly different to the normal.

Here is a few images which i designed as part of a project to create a postcard advertising my local area. All of them were designed on Adobe Photoshop using photographs of my local area.
The image featuring the astronauts mask was as part of a ‘levitation’ project. I took a photo of a person pulling a pose, i then removed them from the original background to give the effect of levitation. I had the idea of floating in space, of course i can not obtain primary photography in space, so the image used here is one from the internet which i placed and edited the photo of my person onto.
I hope you enjoyed my Portfolio.
Thankyou.
